Makes 20
Ingredients:
2 scoops whey in key lime pie
1 cup soaked dates
¼ cup dried apricots
¼ cup pistachio nuts
¼ cup almond butter
2 tablespoon ground flax seed
2 heaping tablespoons raw cocoa powder
2 tablespoons of shredded coconut into the mixture
1 tablespoon spirulina
1 teaspoon Himalayan rock salt (or other sea salt varieties)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Extra coconut and cocoa for rolling.
Procedure:
1. Add the dates and apricots into a food processor. Pulse until smooth and add the seeds, whey and nuts. The recipe will become a sticky batter.
2. Now roll into balls and roll in the coconut or cocoa powder and leave to set in the fridge.
